La Casona de Suesa

Langre boasts two beaches, one large and one small and secluded.

For many people Langre is the most beautiful beach in the whole of Cantabria. At just 3 kilometeres from La Casona the beaches are situated in the village of Langre. Both beaches are surrounded by incredible cliffs and access is provided by stairs. At Langre beach you have the option of parking in the organized car park and pay a small fee to a local who owns it or alternatively you can park along the road and walk a bit further to the Beach. Its advisable if your spending the day to take plenty to eat and drink as there is no beach bar. Its important to bear in mind that when the tide is high access to the stairs might be impeded. However at low tide there are fantastic rock pools perfect for those who are travelling with children or who like to explore. Also to be noted, the second half of the beach is a nudist area.
