Purpose
This demo application shows how to access existing SOAP Web Services using the RemObjects SDK.
The following services are included:
- BabelFish
- Barnes and Noble Price Quote
- Currency Exchange Rate
- California Traffic Conditions
- eBay Price Watcher
- DomainChecker
- FedEx Tracker
- XMethods Query Service
Known Problems
Web services are moving targets and subject to change without much notice. At the
time of writing, the following problems are known:
- BabelFish returns incorrect UTF8 coding. Therefore usesr will receive errors for
German, Italian and Portuguese.
- Barnes&Noble always return "-1".
- CaliforniaHighwayTraffic always return "No accidents reported."
- Ebay always return "-1".
- FedEx always returns "No Status Available at this Time".
